Yes, we will help.
The images on the Army list books are public domain.
I am working on flyer for a local con, I'll get you that so you can change it
and the words from our lawyer that allow you to use the Warrior rules image,
which we own.

To the Ho's. Here in Canberra, we host the Australian National
Wargaming Convention on the Australia Day Long Weekend (circa 25
January each year). It isn't quite as grand as it sounds.
Australia only has a small population scattered over a v large
continent, so our conventions don't attract as many wargamers as you
do in the States or the UK. But CanCon is definitely one of the
reasons I moved to Canberra 12 years ago. CanCon is also where I
started playing TOG three years ago, as hidden among the hords of
GW'ers and DBx'ers (and boardgames, roleplayers, cardplayers, etc,
etc) is a hard core of 7th edition players who come from all over
Australia to play in the annual 7th tournament. Not a huge crowd
but a dedicated one ... something like 15 to 20 people I think but
my memory may be wrong there.
Next year, my friend David Lawrence and I are planning to run a demo
Fast Warrior campaign. He has many year's experience running DBA
campaigns at a local wargames club, and we have decided to spend
three days pushing armies around Dark Age Britain and North West
Europe, playing out the battles in FW rather than DBA. Our reasons,
apart from the obvious (three days solid playing safely out of reach
of family and domestic duties), we are hoping to take the
opportunity to pass the word about Warrior to the small but hardy
band that makes up Australia's 7th edition cadre.
I'm telling the Ho's and the List this for two reasons. One, we
would like to make up some posters or other info material to tell
our audience of 7th grognards about Warrior. Could we use some of
the images from the rules and lists to do this? And could the Ho's
put together (or allow us to with your blessing) some short, snappy,
advertising-type words to sell our audience on why and how Warrior
is different from and better than TOG. I know there have been words
in recent posts on just this theme but thought I'd sound the Ho's
out on whether they have any experience of converting 7th grognards
over there in the US of A.
And my second reason ... if there are any other Australians out
there on this list who fancy a crack at Warrior next Cancon, send me
an email off the list.
Thanks
Jerry Hearn
