Welcome to all our new members here on the group. We have just hit
an all-time membership high and I am sure no small part of that is
due to the recent thread on TMP. Please tell your friends about us.
It has been quiet here of late and that is actually a good thing.
let me explain why.
First, its seasonal. We are in the holiday season where very few
cons and events occur which are always big discussion generators.
That will change after the new year when we enter the 04 con season.
Second, Santa's elves are very busy here at FHE. The two current big
projects are Imperial Warrior and Warrior Battles.
Imperial Warrior is probably our most anticipated list book to date.
One of the reasons for this is our comittment to get the Romans
as 'right' as possible. We think the overall list quality and the
Roman list rules will make this a very exciting product. And it is
ahead of schedule to boot. This is our Cold Wars release.
Warrior Battles is our self-contained introductory game to help new
players into the system. It is also a stand-alone game for those who
would like something even faster than Fast Warrior. I have put the
prototype pages in the files section. Note: this is the format we
plan on using for future printings of Warrior as well, so take a
squint. I am on track for this by next Historicon (my first one as a
civilian...lol).
Third, I think the basic growing pain issues of the rulebook are
pretty much under control. This and the fact that our stock of the
first printing is running low means we are not far off from a reprint
using the new format and a whole bunch of extras (but NO rules
changes...lol).
Other projects such as Fantasy Warrior and our skirmish game continue
in the background, but we are also using this time to get some
smaller projects done, like the new terrain play aid.
I would note that several friends have mentioned the good press we
have gotten lately in other forums and media. Our games are looking
better and better and the quality of play and sportsmanship is great
and getting even better. We at FHE thank each and every one of you
as our ambassadors at game events and are sure this will only be a
trend with our game system. This benefits not only the Warrior
community but all ancients gaming, which is a good thing.
So, to members old and new, this quiet time is a very good thing and
we are very pleased to have you with us for the exciting times ahead.
Roll up and win!
Jon, Scott, Jake and Bill

Jon I noticed that you mentioned a reprint of the rules. Would this
reprint include the CLARIFICATIONS???????
Of course.
This is especially timely
since I am in the middle of adding the clarifications to the
rulebook pages-. Should I stop and wait for the reprint or is that
way off and I should continue with the cut and paste.
I can't speculate on any reprint, but I can tell you it won't be before Cold
Wars next year - after that I don't know.
