Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

A rule clarification please. Mixed light troops with others units test waver if
charged by mounted when the lights can be contacted. What happens with Elephants
having LI fixed to the base? As they don't fight I always assumed under TOG a
waver was not necessary as it seemed odd for elephants to test waver if charged
by mounted.
My first FW game is due this afternoon so I will report back on how I get on
with the Warrior since the last TOG game some 5 years ago.
Looking ahead to bigger games I am using the old Hutchby/Clark 7th lists until
the Classical Warrior lists emerge. One thing for the list HO is in FW Spanish
are all HTW armed whereas the old list is half HTW / half JLS which I think is
better. Is this just to keep FW nice and simple?
