Fellow Warriors

I have been getting some offline mail about the revised rulebook, so I am
obviously overdue to update you on our progress.

The bottom line is that we are on track to hand it to the printers *about* the
middle of October. I would like to be selling it at Fall-In, but what I feel I
must do is ensure we do it right before the end of the year.

I turn the last revised section over to our layout person tomorrow night. At
that point we are out of the business of seeing it in sections and we will be
seeing a complete book in about 2 weeks. I will send it out one more time to
some of the proofers, but *only* to check for typos and rules reference errors.
There will not be another round of major text revisions. I have things I want
to do with the Warrior line and it is time to put this puppy to rest and move
on. I may be making a few rewrites of the remaining text here and there in
chapter 6, but I am happy with the rest of the book at this point.

Ideally, then, the book goes on sale in early to mid November. And then I begin
the process of Warrior Battles, which will incorporate all the hard lessons we
learned from this process. It will be done as a complete product and not in
sections, we already have all of our layout and font and diagram issues worked
out and we will have already printed something in color...lol I look very
forward to the Warrior Battles playtest and the products beyond it (Campaign
Warrior, Fleet Warrior, Warrior Armies, Siege Warrior, SwordClash, Fantasy
Warrior, Renaissance Warrior...etc.)

Jon
