Jon,
A Couple of questions from my game last night with Dave.
Does a Roman Legionarie unit have to be in column to form testudo? It
cannot be in 2x2E formation?
A Mounted body is shot for 2CPF. If it choose to charge instead of
taking the waver test, does it have to charge the body that shot it?
Thanks,
Todd

From the clarifications (which one should read before one asks...lol)
6.43 (Pg 53) Add to end: “A unit may only enter and remain in testudo if it is
at least as many elements deep as it is wide and no more than three ranks
deeper. Change the next to last sentence to read: “It automatically reverts
to block upon entering hand to hand combat…..”
When choosing to charge instead of taking the 2CPF prep waver, you do not have
to charge what shot you.
