I'm in the UK. I'm contemplating getting back into Ancient Wargaming
after about 12 years of abstinence.

I was going to use WRG 7th Edition (with some minor amendments of my
own), then I learned that FHE had bought the rights to these rules
and created Warrior Rules. I have also now found (after weeks of
searching) one or two suppliers in the UK that stock Warrior rules.

Should I consider getting Warrior instead of using WRG 7th Edition ?

What has changed and how has it changed ?

Good sir,

Yes, you should go with warrior. Not for the changes but because of
the best support of any rules system.

You have question, post here and you get an answer from the owners in
a DAY sometimes in two when he has to take his wife to the opera.
Jon, How many wife maintenance points did you score on that one.

The game is mostly the same but you in the UK and me in VA. will play
the game the same way.

Eric

Speaking only for myself, I don't even care for most of the changes
made with Warrior, but STRONGLY suggest that you go with Warrior, for
the reason outlined by Eric and to take advantage of the army lists.

These lists at times make you scratch your head in wonderment, but
that is a 1% negative balanced against the 99% positive of lists that
are balanced, and allow a TON of army to be competitive!

Theres a file in the files section called War_7th.doc that details
the majority of the differences between 7th edition and Warrior.
