There you go John, a good place to start. I actually bought myself
an Alps compatible printer for this. There are commercially
available Mons as well by VVV, I believe. There are two groups on
YahooGroups dedicated to Alps and Decals as well. One is simply
titled ALPS and the other one is RR-Decal.
I have an awesome book that contains EVERY mon ever made by the
Japanese. I found it in the art section of the Bookstop years ago.
The book is called "Japanese Design Motifs" by Matsuya and
translated by Fumie Adachi and is published by Dover Press. There
are 4,260 designs in the book.
As you may surmise, I too have been waiting for Japanese. Glad to
hear that my mobility and armor issues seem to be addressed. I am
waiting for my copy of OW with much baited breathe! I started with
wanting to play Japanese and Mongols when I first moved to San
Antonio. The Mongols may still be a viable tournament army; I
suspect that the Japanese are still going to be a "fun" army but
probably not a viable tournament army. But hey, I still have oodles
of Dixon 15mm Samurai that will have to be painted :-)
