Dave,

I could either play Burmese or Han. Your choice of poisons. Jon probably
has some kind of Knights along with his Han and of course charles has his
(velveta) Sassanids! :)

You flatter me. I'll try and make it over to TT next Monday to do a
painting class for those that are interested. If I can get a 1200
point game in (25mm) too, then that would be plus!!

Charles;

I can't make it tonight, but see above. Additionally, you can check
out Steve's (LBMS) website here:

http://www.littlebigmenstudios.co.uk/Shield%20Transfers.htm

I'll bring a couple of samples and demonstrate next Monday.

Dave

PS Anyone up for a 1200 point game next Monday at TT?

Sounds lovely to me. :)

kp
PS I'm not sure about those OG Boyars. Take a look at your armies and enemies
book that has the ottoman turk on it and the Wallachian Boyars don't look like
the one's you have. In fact, yours appear to be "Russian."

They are Lithuanian figures, and according to my reference books,
the Moldavian boyars were often Lithuanian. Armies of the Middle
Ages Vol. 2 pg. 172 (figure 143).

That's how I did my Moldavians, albeit in 15mm. Used Lithuanians
both for the Boyar HK and for the Viteji LC. With figs that match
140 and 143, more or less.

Gents;

For those that are interested, I am about half-way through a major
update to my website. I have completed the Alexandrian Imperial army
page. Be prepared for a long load time if you don't have broadband,
since I haven't transitioned over to thumbnails yet. You can view
here:

Other stuff will be added over the next few days.

Gents;

For those that are interested, I have added a page to the My Armies
section on the website, titled Allies and Enemies of Imperial Rome.
I've added some shots of some recently painted Old Glory Sarmatians
(25mm). I've never been a huge fan of OG, but these paint up nicely,
and look good on the table. I have used a little more of a dramatic
style with them (and also the Newline Design horse archers).
Caution: Long load times possible!
