you post the general area that you live in (or game convention sites
that are not to far away) so everyone can get and idea of where
opponents could be found. We have the three Strategicon conventions
and GenCon West just down the road in Anaheim.

Well, a few of us live in Toronto, Canada. In Toronto most of us play
25mm (only). At the moment we have a 12 player campaign set in 360 BC,
we're holding a campaign themed tournament (nothing to do with 360 BC)
Feb 17-19 in Toronto (expecting 12 players), and we have 7 local players
with armies, plus another half dozen or more currently building armies.
If there's anyone else in Ontario, Quebec, or NYS/Vermont/Michigan who
plays and is on the list, we'd love to know. It's a long drive to
Lancaster... (okay, not compared to many of you, I know)

Yours,
Chris Cameron

I relocated up to sunny Seattle earlier in 2005.

Occasionally Bill Low drops by the area...;)

Los Angeles, CA.

We should get a game or two together in the greater
LA/Riverside/Brookhurst hobbies area.

I live in the Central Valley of California near Fresno. The San Francisco Bay
Area is closest, about 3hrs. Los Angeles is about 4hrs.

The main Bay Area conventions are in February, May, and September

Cool, we can keep in touch via the list - there's a couple game stores around
w/ tables we could use.

Thing is, it may not be worth your time, as I've never played, and it will be
unlikely that I'll have mini's by then... so, it's okay to say 'nevermind',
heh!

I was hoping to find folks in the area who wouldn't mind suffering a complete
newcomer to the game, maybe play a few tutorial sessions.

As it is, I'll probably have to lurk around my friendly local game store and
try to convince someone out of warhammer to take up learning warrior with me,
heheh.

Cheers,

Corey

I live in North East PA...specifically Cresco. This is north of Allentown and
east of Scranton for what that's worth:) I'm new to the game but I have a couple
of old hands showing me the ropes which has helped my learning curve a lot. Of
course given my diminishing mental capacity these later years there is only so
much you can do....

Greetings Corey,
I don't mind showing you the game. If you want to try an army with just bases
that is a good way to learn. If you want to push lead around I have a couple of
painted armies.

Excellent!

Let's keep in touch via the list, I'll mark a calendar entry to remind me to
give you a ping in early march.

In the meantime, I'll brush up on the Warrior manual, and do what I can to get
more acclimated to the rules basics on my own, so that I'm not completely
ignorant when you show.

Thanks a ton, very kind!

Beers,

Corey
