Jon,
This has probably been answered over the last couple of Cold Wars while ironing out how Tim's and Ambrose's Arabs behave, but I'm unclear on which of two rules takes precedence.
On the one hand, camels have a disordering effect on non-camel-proof cav within 80p. On the other hand, mounts have no game effect while troops are dismounted.
So: do infantry mounted on camels have a disordering effect on non-camel-proof cav when such infantry are dismounted?

8 June 2005 Clarifications:
6.6 (Pg 57) Add at end after 6.64:
“6.65 Existence of mounts of dismounted troops. Dismounted troops are the dismounted troop type for ALL purposes. Their mounts are ‘present’ (whether modeled by 6.64 or not) but not ‘inside their formation’ for any purpose such as being treated as mounted troops for approach initiative or being disordered by camels or elephants. As the mounts are present even if not part of the formation, they will, if camels, disorder other horses under 5.221. The range of this effect is measured from anywhere on the REAR edge of the dismounted infantry body.”
