Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

A reminder to everyone on the West Coast that this weekend will be Kubla Con at the Hyatt Regency Burlingame, next to the San Francisco Airport. Overall convention information is available at http://www.kublacon.com.

We will be holding a Warrior tournament during Kubla Con, as follows:

- 25mm tournanment
- 1600 points
- 1 version of army list from any of the published FHE army list books
- players' best 3 rounds will count as their score.

A note about the last point. We will run rounds starting at 4:00 PM on Friday, and including 3 rounds on Friday. If necessary to enable someone to get in a 3rd round we'll run a round Sunday morning. So potentially you could play in as many as 5 rounds (6, if we squeeze in 2 rounds on Friday). Only your best 3 rounds count. The reason for scheduling this way is to enable players who are committed to some of the many other attrractive gaming choices during Kubla Con to still get in a few games of Warrior.

Friday afternoon/evening we have 8x5 tables available to us. On Saturday we have 8x4 tables.

I would be happy if we have at least 6 people. I know we have 4 committed for sure, and potentially we could have as many as 10. I'll be umpiring the event. I will play as needed to even out the numbers, but my main interest is seeing that everyone else who wants a chance to play gets their chance.
