Hey Jon.
I have a question that came up recently.
Lets say you have a unit of Greek or Illyrians or Thracians peltasts (LTS, JLS Sh) in the woods.
They find some enemy, somehow they begin to fight. The first bound is pretty clear -- JLS is valid.
For purpose of ranks and weapons in later bounds what to they count as?
A) - they fight 1 rank as SA and no JLS bonus. (LTS is forbidden in woods, JLS is forbidden with LTS armed in later bounds).
B). - they fight as if only JLS armed -- 1,5 ranks with bonus. (the LTS armament is ignored).
I hope it's not B), but that seems to be how the rules read.
Oh well.

But you were correct, once your error is noted, that A is indeed what the rules say....lol
