The notes contain the text:
"No infantry may be upgraded unless all cavalry, other than general's elements, that can be is upgraded to Irr A."

There are a couple of problems here.

Does this refer to BOTH infantry upgrade lines? (to Irr C AND to Irr A) It would seem to, given its wording...I'm just wondering what's intended.

Also, why is the "general's elements" part there? I ask because the upgrade line with Nobles and Generals is all/none...so you don't appear to be able to upgrade Noble cav without also upgrading the Generals.

It does refer to both lines. If you want Irr C infantry, your applicable mounted must be upgraded to Irr A.

I see what you mean about the "general's element". Will errata that. Also noted a loophole in that you can theoretically NOT upgrade your Feudal Cav but upgrade the Retainers to Irr A. That's not correct. I'll need to put a line in the Notes for that.
