I have a quick question about moving bolt shooters. In the rules a light (2 man) bolt shooter costs 20 points (if regular) and is listed as "man portable". A three man bolt shooter costs 30 points and comes with oxen. So, by the rules the 2 man bolt shooter has a tactical move of 40 and one march segment. The three man bolt shooter would have a tactical move of 80 and two march segments. Am I correct so far?
You could add a cart to a light bolt shooter for a cost of 10 (as in the EIR list). This would essentially make the 2 and 3 man bolt shooter the same in all respects including cost....except that one element shoots as three figures and one as two. Correct? Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification Jon. Now I just need to figure out a good way to field those 2 required bolt shooters in an EIR list _________________ "...never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense."

Yup, take them on the carts...that gives them some shooting arc advantages too. |

You only get oxen if the list says so don't you? _________________ Kill them all, God knows his own |

I believe they are also different in the sense that bolt shooters mounted on cart become a transport target for combat and shooting which is much worse for them

Larger bolt shooters come with oxen unless the list says otherwise.

Most heavy bolt shooters, and stone throwers, don't specify any animals, and the list notes don't say whether they have animals or do not have them.
Is your comment to suggest that unless the list specifically states 'no draft animals', that heavy bolt shooters (what about stone throwers) do have oxen?

17.1 states what they come with. It isn't referenced well, in other places and will get an errata.
