A unit of HC has recoiled a unit of Roman HI during Bound 4. In Bound 5 the Roman player replaces the HI in contact with the HC with a second unit of Romans. The Romans count as in first contact with HTW and the HC does not get to count their lance. Does the HC get to count follow-up or any other combat bonuses against the new opponent?

9.42, next to last para:

"A unit adds 1 against the units that they are following-up
against or are pursuing only. If otherwise entitled, such units
add 1 even if their opponents are unable to recoil (6.31). If they
become involved in a combat with some other unit during the
follow-up or pursuit the plus 1 is not figured against that enemy."

So, no.
