Jon,
We had a situation in a recent game as follows: An LI, Bow unit (6 el wide x 2 el deep) was charged by an HC unit (1 el wide x 1 el deep) on its end element. The LI passes its waver test and is recoiled disordered. The HC followed up and expanded to 2 el wide x one el deep. Next bound two nearby HK units (each 1 el wide x 1 el deep) charge thru the LI and each contact an element of HC frontally.

Question 1: Are the adjacant elements of LI (the file that was NOT interpenetrated by the HK) eligible to fight Hand-to-Hand combat in this 2nd bound of melee with the HC unit?

2nd situation (hypothetical): 1st bound identical except the HC follows up and does not expand (it remains 1 el wide x 1 el deep). Next bound only one unit of HK charges and interpenetrates the LI to contact the HC frontally.

Question: Which, if any, of the 2nd rank elements of LI (bow) is eligible to support shoot the HC?

Thanks,
Rich Pichnarczyk
