Hey Jon I see the new Errata.
It contains this:
9.3 (pg 83). (Supersedes old errata). Add fifth bullet under JLS:
• "A foot figure armed with JLS and with no other close combat weapon but inherent SA always receives the JLS +.”
Does that totally replace and remove this?
9.3 (page 83): A figure armed only with JLS always receives the JLS +.
Or is it in addition to? (I hope so, I like this one. It makes the JLS only cavalry not so bad in a prolonged fight).

It supersedes old errata - which means replaces. _________________ Roll Up and Win! |

Does it also replace this then? (same section, same page)
9.3 (page 83): Add 1HCW to the list of weapons in the fourth bullet under (JLS+).
Asside:
That's too bad about the mounted troops then.
It was something I was going to try to use with the Achaemenid Persians.
A big unit of JLS-only Cav, with enough figures to absorb the dammage can take a 2E Lance charge and then clean-up second bound (assuming an overlap) rather than the usual rout at contact.
It made JLS-only Cav kinda good.
Well, thanks for the reply.
