Hi,

Does anyone have any good primary or secondary sources for Lykian info? Books, archaeology, etc. Perhaps the person who wrote the outstanding Lykian details of Classical Warrior List 7 might be persuaded to reply… I'm particularly interested in what exactly a drepanon might have looked like...

Drepanon is Greek for sickle. My assumption is that it is similar to a rhomphia or a sickle-sword.

Osprey published a book on the Persian Army (Elite series) which had some passing information on Lykians -- a statue with an assumed drepanon.

That's all I know of.

Noel.
