Looks like I may bite the bullet and finally do a Samurai army. I did not see mention of this, but, can the rear rank of a cavalry unit be HC or HK with a front rank of EHK?

Half of the HK, in the Late period of Feudal Japanese, can be EHK. Any can be HK. So...you 'could' have some HC back ranks, but at the likely cost of not having some EHK front ranks.

You could do all EHK/HK units if you wanted.

Early period on HK, and only 1/2 of HC, is available.
