Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

On analyzing Steve Rawls list, I can understand almost all of it. However, units number 21 and 22 are:

2 RB LI JLS, SH 30

Looking at the Han List in OW (number 11) I can only see one line for this troop type and that is the Chariot Runner from the Early or Middle periods. In the List Rules section it states that Chariots may have Runner detachments - but nothing of these being able to be fully formed units on their own. Obviously I am missing something here .....

As I am in the process of acquiring and learning said army, I am very interested in this list, especially as my inspiration is the Hsiung Nu campaigns of Han Wu-ti in the period of 129-120 BC.

Since it's my list in question, I will willingly suffer the wrath of Scott by answering this. Because it says they MAY have detachments, they can be either stand alone units or in a detachment with the chariots.

Thanks - I guess I am hung up on the name of "Chariot Runners". The presumption was they would be part of the chariot unit, with the option of being a detachment. I was trying to see how the two worked together historically and attempting to translate that to Warrior.

Mark's analysis of the list mentions using them in conjunction with the line units, and that threw me if they were supposed to be used with the chariots.
