Is this possible.
If so , must you follow skirmisher rules?
Had a few players argue the something allows them to act otherwise. |

There is nothing preventing a unit from being in skirmish formation and having an obstacle between it and the enemy. _________________ Roll Up and Win! |

I have had players behind disordering obstacles (not terrain) claiming that the waver for loose formation foot charged by mounted did not have to be taken as the obstacle disordered the mounted.
Just wanted to run this past you. |

You could, of course, read through sections 5.5 and 12.32.
