(1) Do rocks purchased under 16.3 move with the element for which they are purchased? That is, can they be purchased and deployed with a particular element at the outset of the game and then be used by that element if the element and its unit move away from its deployment position?
(2) Do elements using rocks have normal shooting arc determined under the first two bullets of 8.51?

1) The purchase of rocoks is the ability to find them and employ them if ever the element is on a rocky slope and the other requirements are met. An element does not move around the battlefield with rocks and cannot employ them from any other terrain situation or slope type.

2) Rocks do not have a shooting arc. They "hit" what is directly in front of and downslope of the employing element.

Thanks. While I did understand that rocks could not be used away from the rocky hill, I was unsure whether the unit for which the rocks were purchased could move within the rocky portion of a hill after deployment and still have the rocks available.
