Look down in the X Rule section. I have a new post and some thoughts there.

A new X rule has been added so please check down in the X Rules section. I'll also update the web site.

Basically it hit me at Cold Wars that not everybody in 25mm is mounting elephant bases the same. Some have them on 60x60 bases, others on the "older" 60x80 bases. 2.512 allows for that variability but it raised some questions during a game and I'd like to dictate a bit more consistency going forward.

This X rule mandates 60x80 and we'll be doing that at Hcon.

This doesn't mean you need to rebase your elephants. If that's too much hassle, simply use a 60x20 base as an extension and place it behind each elephant base. Seems simple enough and it's not too obtrusive.

I'll have plenty of loaner bases (RI bevelled bases) at Hcon for those that need em.

X Rules have been updated. Specifically 17.1 and the single element EL rule (command points now 10 for such a single-element unit).

Expect both aspects of the 17.1 X Rule to be in play for the forseeable future.
