Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

An elite-yet-friendly crowd gathered last Saturday for coffee, wine and Warrior; not, perhaps, to the level of the fabled BillCons, but some excellent cameraderie and gaming nonetheless, with the guest of honour being Jevon, adorned in his Greek beard and missing only part of one kidney .

Armies in play included Minoan, Carthaginian, New Kingdom Egyptian, Thematic Byzantine, Russ and I think one other; generally heavy terrain posed challenges for all, but did not prevent decisive outcomes. A really fun day, even in the absence of several locals, and thanks to all for coming. The next iteration for the NE group is rumoured to be Chez Kovel, details to come..

Little wonder actually, knowing me.
With the beard, I would not have recognized him.
But things looked great.
