If an army has a signal as part of a WAIT order and the C-in-C is killed before it is transmitted, is his replacement free to transmit it when he has taken command?
Thanks,

I think that would depend on how the signal was described. It is possible that no one has ever lost their CIC so fast that a signal wasn't made to a command with wait orders. Considering the number of waver checks involved with losing a CIC, I can't imagine it happening without a concession as well.
A "signal" can be a trigger event, like when the enemy crosses the center line, in which case it could happen. But if it is a waving of the banner, which is common, then no. You could have one, "When CiC is seen to be in rout", that could work. _________________ Phil
