List 25 of Feudal Warrior:
Holy Roman Imperial:
the notes say you can mix units of German Mercenary Infantry and CB.
However, the Infantry are MI or HI and the CB are LMI or LI.
Can you mix these?????
Inquiring minds want to know.

No, only troops of the same order and nationality may mix.

So, Feudal Infantry and Crossbowmen close order, Town and Communal Infantry and Crossbowmen close order, German Mercenary Infantry and Crossbowmen close order.

My point was that I can't get any close order CB.
How would I mix them.

When I look at the list each category of infantry with CB appear to be able to be close, loose or in one or two cases open order.
