Hi Guys I don't own an army for this years theme event, I was hoping that I could rent an army for it. Rent could be pain in beer or scotch...
Thanks Terry |

Bill's typically been our go-to guy for loaners. I'll email him and ask.

I would offer an army for free - but scotch sounds much better. Seriously do you have a preference?
I think I can do Scots common - certainly could do burgundian/100 yesrs war English , and maybe some of the others - you have access to 100+ spearmen, 100+ longbow and I believe 50+ knights, plus assorted lights etc.
Let me know - by the way Bills figures are always better painted than mine, and in either case no rent required (speaking for Bill - without asking)

As Scott says, there are usually a few loaners available for the Theme, but it's always a little uncertain up to the last minute.
If you and Robert can get set on something, in advance, I would encourage you to do so ... that way, you know what you will be getting in advance.
Hope to see you there. |

Early burgundian is fine. I'll review it to see how it works.
I'm not expecting to play well as the only play time I've logged in the last 4 years has been one game at fall in last year. |
