These are tentative. Weighting could change but the list of armies won't. Limitations on specific armies could change. There most likely will be a theme rule or two for certain armies. The cutoff is around 275 BC but note I'm saying "around".

Alex and Successors Lists

22) Alex Macedonian, -10%
23) Alex Imperial, -10%
24) Asiatic Early Successor, 0%
25) Lysimachid, -5%
26) Macedonian Early Successor, 0%
27) Seleucid (Early Period Only), -10%
28) Ptolemaic (Early Period Only), -5%
30) Pyrrhic (No Samnites/Oscans; No Italiot/Sicilian Greeks), +5%
31) Pergameme (No ex-Seleucids), +5%

Classical Warrior Enemies Lists

2) Skythian (Early Period Only; No Assyrians): 0%
5) Illyrian (No Syracusan-led troops), +30%
6) Thracian (Early Period Only), +20%
18) L Ach Persian, +10%
19) Bithynian (No Roman/Roman-led troops), +10%
32) Galatian (No Imitation Legionaries), +20%
37) Hellenistic Greek, +10%

Imperial Warrior Enemies Lists

2) Early Armenian (CinC cannot be Tigranes), +10%
6) Nabataean Arab, +20%
8) Bosporan (Early Period Only), +5%

Oriental Warrior Enemies Lists

7) Early Indian (Republican Period Only), 0%
8) Mountain Indian, +20%

Nabataean Arab Terrain Rules: Can replace any feature that isn't any kind of water feature or village with dunes as follows:

Point to a terrain feature. Both players roll a d6. If Nabataean player has more SPs but fewer than 2:1, he gets +2 on roll; if more than 2:1 but less than 3:1 he gets +3; if 3:1 or more, he gets +4. If he has fewer scouting points but at less than the 2:1 level, he has a -1 on the roll; if outscouted it's a -2. If the initial roll results in a tie, roll a d6 again but this time it's a straight up roll. Then proceed to the next piece of terrain.

trying to get back into the game after many ... many .. years away. Will there be an open event at Historicon 2015? If so, how many points and 15s or 25s? I dont have any figs anymore and need to start planning now.

Hummmmhmm!!
Well BillLow is in striking distance.
The Jersey Group should be somewhat near.
Easton is on the border of NJ and PA.
Phil Gardocki is around Allentown if I remember
right. Watch out for his Polish Winged Angels.
I will have to cogitate on this.
Ewan is hosting an event at Schenectady NY.
at the Council of 5 Nations con.
Mark Cribs (sp) took the event last yearl
I think you have an advantage from PA.
I think I remember Ewan saying that on his
scoring system. PLayers get points directly proportional
to the distance they travel to the Con.LOL

Hello, Kevin.

Good to hear from you again.

Jim Bisignani and Mark Cribbs are in the Scranton area, and organize events from time to time. They hosted a fast warrior event in Allentown recently. Should be a good option for you.

Regards.

I do remember!!
Richard Boone was great with his
business card.
I can see in my mind's eye Chinese
Boy coming in and handing him a
letter and saying
"Where now Mr. Paladin??"

Ha ha ... we can argue about who is the "older" ... but the message is the same ... we have guns, we will travel, you guys tells us when and where ... and if we can make it, we will come. If we can. Look out.

Trying to survive Dec.
It has been a merry whirlwind since Thanksgiving.
And it will continue until next year.
We are in winter quarters. Standing on the Palisade wall
pulling our fur mantle tight around us as we look into
the cold winter wind and snow.

Sounds lovely ... hibernating through the cold days ... but awake and arise, my old friend, we are planning on a gathering here in Wilton in the depth of Winter. Stand by for details.

Note change to weighting:

Nabataean Arab is now 20%, a change from 30%.

Dual posting:

Nobody has ever come forward saying he'll ump the theme. Much of the time said ump also plays if we have an odd number.

Still need someone as I'll be busy rolling up sixes all day long with my Galatians. Rolling Eyes Wink
