Hi there, I'm waiting for the rule book and imperial army lists to come. And I've been wondering what people recommend and play? 15 or 25/28mm to battle it out with. I have different scales for different games so I.know the difference in painting etc. _________________ Carl Chambers |

If you have current opponents (local) use what they can match with - we have however almost all moved to 25/28 mm as regards tournaments and friendly gaming in the US |

Build 25 mm so you can get cheap plane tickets to Florida and come play in Florida on the weekends with us. |

Visigoths!!!!
Love that name. I remember there was a joke about picking armies. There was a list. like
A) figure out the point values and factor in Probabilities etc
The last choice was "Pick Visigoths-the name is so cool"
I have late Cartho figs for a Hannibal army downstairs just haven't got to doing anything with them.
Keep up the good work.

Punic War armies are attractive, offer varied options and are popular in period. Not at all a bad choice ... and you will be able to equip your friends with figures. |

Ed, I also have Carthaginians that need painting. I have Gripping Beast Elephants but I'm not thrilled with them. Have you seen the ones made by First Corp? They have big African Elephant ears and a classic pose getting ready to stomp some unlucky legionnaire! Sweet!

First Corp!!!
I will have to check them out.
Matter of fact, after reading and posting that response I went downstairs and pulled out the lead. I, actually, have 6 elephants. Forgot that I had that many.
I found the Veterans. Glad I found them, I know that I have the transfers for them.
I just finished my Romano-Brits. BillL and I have a mega battle of Picts v Romano-Brits. Maybe 3600ps v 3600ps. Hopefully, 3 on a side.
The Picts will mostly be MattK's Picts with BillL's Gallic guys to fill the points.
Romano-Brits will be mostly BillL's with my Romano-Brits to fill it out.
Thanks for the site
will check it out.
