FURTHER ALONG THE FRENCH BORDER:

Prince Albert and Master Nickolas moved along the countryside with their troops.
“After our victory over the French, it seems that we have cleared the border of brigands, but we still receive reports of devastation.” Nickolas reported.
“There is not much border left. We are approaching the coast.” Retorted Albert.
Unexpectedly, down the path galloped a forward scout. Abruptly, he reigned in his mount.
“Troops ahead, sir. Scouts from the look of them.”
“Who are they?? French??”
“Yes!”
Suddenly, other scouts appeared.
“Enemy camp beyond the wood on the coast.?”
“French??”
“No! Scots! However, some French scouts and Light troops.”
“The French have called in Scot allies.” Shouted Albert.
“Ride to Lord Otto and report. We will deploy here and cover the approach.”
Soon Nickolas and Albert were advancing and deploying there troops.

Hours later, on the coast.

Otto looked over the field. The coast was on his left with a rough in the center right.
He viewed as the Scots moved their Lts,sh blocks (five) from the coast to the shoulder of the rough. LMI JLs,sh unit and LI B with two LI CB units on the French left.
He turned to Konrad.
“Father! Flank march on the Scot left with the LC CB and Kn unit. We will try to crash through those LI CB and run up their flank. Deploy the 2HCT units to match their LTs,sh units. Move the LMI CB into the rough. The LI B will move against the Scot left. Carl, Albert. You will be with me as we follow the LI B against the Scot left. Don’t be late, Father.”
Soon the troops marched out.
Otto gazed as the four 2HCT units marched left. As he moved around the rough, he could hear the sound of melee to his left. If only if the infantry can hold until we march and crush his left. He surveyed the dance of skirmishing between the opposing LI.
He constantly strained his view to see the red dragon banner of Konrad. Finally, the banner appeared, almost on cue. (turn 3)
“Look, Otto! The Scot’s are reacting.” Roared Carl.
Speechless at the skill and ease, the Scot LI CB units maneuvered. One expanded out while the other turned and contracted behind the flank of Konrad’s knight unit. Soon they were pummeling the flank of the German Kn flank. One Scot Kn unit charged the German LC and drove them from the field.
Otto quickly realized that his opportunity to crush the Scot was vanishing.
“Charge Carl! Albert drive in through their LI”.
Soon the German Kn’s were roaring in.
Instantaneously, a messenger rode up.
He turned.
“Lord! Master Nickolas begs you come quickly. The line has collapsed. Only the EHI Feudal broke their opponent.”
Otto looked left. In the distance he could see the German troops retreating.
He turned to his signaler.
“Sound the recall.” He softly murmured and rode to the left to cover the retreat.
