With a block of 2 or more ranks following up can the front rank elements echelon more than one base depth forward provided some of the elements behind remain in side edge contact with some of the less/non echeloned elements of the body. Or are you limited to echelon steps/increments of less than one element base depth per column echeloning forward?
Many thanks

My answer would be that you can eschelon 40 paces forward as long as you do not break base contact within unit - per base wide.
More would be disordering, and may not break base contact.
without the rules in front of me - u may only be able to eschelon 40p forward total - sorry my memory is slipping |

Robert is correct. You can echelon forward as much as (remaining) movement allows as long as you don't break base contact. Echeloning forward more than 40p disorders you. _________________ These Rules Suck, Let's Paint! |

Robert's memory is slipping!!!!!!!!!!!
Say it any so...............
I lost my mind a long time ago.
The only reason I know my name is that my wife says, "Time to wake up ED."
(I guess I should be worried if she called another name HUH)
Wait a minute maybe I can beat Robert now.
Hey! What do we call this game we play?????????
