Ive somewhat recently finished my Pict army....only 6-7 years...this is a judgement free zone!

I have based a mix of MI and LMI.....
any and all suggestions welcome.....especially free of charge advise

Bring lots of whiskey - give it to your opponent delay until onslaught of effects - crush him
Actually - it is like many other barbarian armies - I don't like close order - but you want to design it around waves of impetuous charges and expect some up rolls - big blocks of foot with barbarian foot rules that roll up win. But enev when they die leave disordered enemy for the next wave
Send a list and I would tell you how I would run it, and maybe someone good at this kind of army (Dan Wojke) can correct my mistakes

Having seen the pics of the Picts - they are absolutely beautiful.

I agree with Robert - 12E units with spots for chariots to cause unease/chase lights etc...

Saxons are tough troops as well.

Would love to face when Abyssinians are complete Smile

AHHH.....
Thank you Robert.
Matt must be worried that Arturos will crush Picts if he has called in the Reseach team.
OK..... No whiskey before the game. Good thing I don't drink.
OH... by the way. Get in line Picts. You will have to pick (excuse the pun) up the pieces of the Abyssinian after Arturos get finished with them.
Ed the Rash Romano-Brit.
BYW. Love that line "Pics of the Picts". Laughing

ok ... seems consensus is along the same lines I was thinking....i personally like them better as open order<but the MI could have its uses. the Saxons are only a Late option, so no chariots with them. No chariot rules means i lean a little towards using the Saxons....chariots rules make it a little harder decision...but in the spirit of Bill Low, i have both options in lead:)

it'll be a shame to have to beat up on the poor Abyssinians(also beautiful!!) ..but that is the Pictish way
