So in discussions of late....that is Todd Kaeser claiming he'd run down my Pictish LI with Abyssinian LC! *RUBBISH*
It came up about Chariotry.... and hence my inquiry...
Can Dark Age/Imperial era Chariots (i.e. Picts, Gauls, British, Caledonian) use the chariot rules from biblical warrior?

.....yes if your asking me! but alas I'm no authority....

I would say no - but don't know why - I would think the Chinese and other chariots would have similar uses and rules based on what I have read about them - especially the Chinese who skirmished with their chariots as an example - I would ask Scott and Bill

LC does win against LI, most of the time. But it is close to 66/33. And in the end you have one of two things. 1: A victorious, tired, possibly disordered LC behind enemy lines or 2: A lightly tired, routing LC throwing waver checks in its path. As someone who runs LI, I'll take those odds any day.

I think some rules would help.....maybe not quite as extensive as biblical chariots....but they were used pretty extensively at the time. maybe something in a small boost for shooting and something involving transport, which seemed to be a big part of their use in this age.

I'm no historian tho Smile
