Hello All,

If a unit armed with LTS, JLS Sh fights in a wood, it does not count the LTS. Does it also lose the +JLS and so fight as a single rank with only SA?

Let's see if I am correct!
1) Correct- do not count the Lts
2) take Other Infantry Weapon + Jls

Hello Ed,

That is how I would interpret it, but I have a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that it was argued (perhaps back on the Yahoo Group) that as it was originally LTS + JLS that if you lose the LTS, because of the woods, you also lose the JLS.

So I thought that I would just check for future reference.

The JLS still applies, but only on the first bound of combat. Because they are armed with another hand to hand weapon besides JLS -- even if they can't use that weapon -- they lose the JLS+ on subsequent bounds.

I want to add that the LTS, JLS unit, in the woods, will always fight half its second rank figures even though it cannot use LTS and loses the JLS + after bound 1.
