This is perhaps one of the more efficient, better lists you can do on 1200 in Dogs of War as the shooters are what you want anyway, and start out D morale.

CinC PA 2E Irr B SHK/EHK L,Sh 196
Sub P 2E Irr B SHK/EHK L,Sh 136
2E Reg B SHK/HK L,Sh/L 103
2E Irr B SHK/EHK L,Sh 124
8E Irr C LC CB 89
3x 4E Reg D LI CB 78
6x 4E Reg D LMI LB,Sh/LB 300
2x 4E Reg D LHI 2HCW,LB/LB 164 = 1190

10 points left! Four good knight units...pile of shooting and terrain capability.

Reg D LHI? No thanks. Early Burgundian is a solid list, made better by the Dogs of War format, but there has to be a better way to buy it.

Turns out is is actually hard to fill up the D class requirement on Early Burgundian, so you have to buy some armor for the longbowmen and leave them D class.

You could, of course, buy Reg D HI/MI P...no? No. Especially as you'd have to drop a knight unit.

Turns out that the LB won't be charging anything that isn't disordered from their shooting, or from behind a flank...or what 2HCW LB do after knight charges, help clean up (thus no need to prompt the LHI LB to charge).

They also 'force back' LI just by going to 40p (all the LB do)...and shoot off LC.

So, they're not ideal...but ok. You win through volume of shooting and knight charges.
