I saw Dave Cheng at Schenectady and he wanted me to get the Council talked about. I know it sounds early but I got an email and DaveC talked about it. They want to start getting the events on the list for the Council. It is Sat 9/30/2017.
I know everyone is thinking about H-Con but I promised him I would start the ball rounding on this.

Already looking forward to it and plan on painting some units to adapt a current army for something totally new for C5N

It's on my radar but not yet looming large . I expect to have an unchanged format, although I would really like to get the evening-before-meal established as a tradition sooner rather than later.. |

The Warrior Cup is at the engraver to get a new plaque mounted to commemorate Ewan McNay's victory with Aztecs at Council 2016.
Here are some photos of the trophy as it looks now. Which of you will get your name engraved this year?

That trophy looks pretty nice.
It would look good on my dining room table.
I don't think my wife will go for it. Well, now all you guys can breathe easier. I will not think of any diabolical plan to win the trophy. I know you have all been worried if I came with a "Killer Army". Don't worry. You now have a chance to win it.

At players' request, I'm going to steal some of the Fall In experimental rules/lists for C5N. So:
-New World Beta lists allowed:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17275
-African Warrior lists allowed:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17284
-Roman Civil Wars Theme lists allowed:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17498
-General character of 5 can be Bold or reroll on Special General’s table (CinC can choose to roll regardless): 1 Bleeder. General has a physical defect that makes him more prone to a catastrophe. In Hand to Hand, if the Bleeder's unit takes 2 CPF or more, and makes a unmodified melee roll of -2, -3, or -4, forces a catastrophe. In preparatory shooting, if the Bleeder's unit is takes 2 CPF and the missile fire die roll is +2 or higher, forces a catastrophe. 2 Inattentive. General is sick or wounded. General gets only 10 prompt points a turn. 3 Efficient General gets 20 prompt points. 4 Brave, General’s unit always adds an additional +1 in melee (So a down 3 roll for a Regular B General is even). 5 Inspirational. Unit with general is never uneasy. If the General is the CIC then all units within 120 paces are never uneasy. 6 Great. General is Efficient, Brave, and Inspirational.
All morale grades for troops MUST BE DEFINED DURING DEPLOYMENT.
Note that we are NOT altering shooting factors from standard. See you all next Saturday. |

I have at least 10 confirmed, even without the two lost to Yom Kippur, and with a couple not yet spoken for; it shall be another excellent day of gaming. |

Hey, Mark - perhaps I can entice *both* you & Scott out here by having a pre-gaming marathon? What would it take? I promise that the red wine is excellent.. |
