|
|
We're pleased to announce a step forward in supporting Warrior: a next generation of army lists.
These will be available as a PDF download from Wargame Vault. These updated lists will contain all errata previously published separately. They have also been reformatted to make them easier to consult.
The cost is deliberately low. We realize that some of these lists have been available for free but figured the new formatting and latest errata are worth the slight cost.
We started with Dark Age Warrior because it was the farthest along in terms of being updated. Our next 2nd Gen book will be Holy Warrior. We have no specific timetable for e-publication but will keep you updated.

I should add that this new format means the page size is standard 8.5 x 11.
The margins might not be enough for you to simply punch holes in each page and put it into a binder. Instead do what I've done for years and use sheet protectors. You can get a box of 100 for around $7.
Overall the hope is that the changes will make it easier to consult the lists.
Now, the old format made it easier to read them while sitting on the toilet...or so I've been told.

Everybody make sure to thank Scott when you see him for driving this forward and making it a reality.
Hopefully before too much longer we can simply send folks links when referring to lists (and eventually the rules) so they can affordably buy a copy and get to playing. |

Just to be clear:
Don't thank me.... I had nothing to do with it...
But am very happy for it.

Our next 2nd Edition projects will be done together: New World Warrior and Biblical Warrior.
NWW will incorporate the material in the Theme lists with some additions, for example Hawaiian.
BW won't see significant revisions from the recent free version but will be formatted along the 2nd Ed lines and have additional Background text.
No date(s) on either.

That's exciting! Are you able to say yet if Spanish Colonial and/or Conquistador will get added? |

I'm pretty confident that those Spanish lists will be included. _________________ These Rules Suck, Let's Paint! |
