If no Russ units are used do Russ minimums apply if you are using a Varangian CINC? The list restrictions say "Minimus marked * apply only if any troops of that nationality are used: treat Russ-led troops as "Russ" for this purpose" but no Russ-led troops are actually marked with *. So as written you have to take the Russ troops but the list restriction implies to me that the Russ minimums were supposed to be marked *.

Make sure you've got the latest updated Dark Age Warrior.

Then, yes, the Russ minimums are required regardless of whether you have a Russ CinC or a Varangian CinC.
