Sportsman for the weekend was Mark C., who hadn't planned to play but came prepared and as drafted. Friday's 3-round mini had four players: Sean's Nikephorian Byzantine won with 14, Scott M's all Mongols had 8, Fred's Alexandrian Imperial's had 6, and Rich K's Granadan Army. Of note, on round two Alex fought the great Khan only to see one of his generals killed and another shot in the eye and evacuated, while the Mongols also lost a general. For the most the witnesses all passed moral checks, nonchalantly shrugging off their deaths and parrying on for a 2:2 battle. Saturday's 3-rounder had six players: This time around Rich's Granadan's won with 13. Fred's Alexandrian Imperials also had 13, but Rich bested Fred 490-475 for the win (I was too brain dead to run through adjusted scores). It was a close third round with four players coming in with 8 points and one with 6. Sean's Nikephorian Byzantines and Mark's Dacians each finished with 11, Scott's Mongols with 10, and Don's Vikings with 5. The playing area at the Radisson in Valley Forge rocked!

Great to hear it...would be awesome if folks post their lists and talk about their battles.
