Hi,
If I understand the rules correctly (but maybe I'm wrong) any Reg troops may move backwards 40p during an approach phase (2 maneuvers and 40p left); an Irr cannot except turning its back.
So my question, is a backwards move allowed as a counter ? I mean full tactical move ?
thanks. |

If I understand this correctly, sure.
You could take a Reg infantry unit, turn it 180, move full tac distance "backwards" for example.
As long as the restrictions on where you end up are met. _________________ These Rules Suck, Let's Paint! |

Be careful about wheeling while you are moving away from the enemy, as part of the Counter rules state:
"No part of the non-maneuver portion of a counter move may get closer to an enemy body within 240p."
This means that if a now rear corner of your countering body, while wheeling, would get closer to an enemy body, you cannot perform that motion (as it is a non-manuever). |
