This doesn’t appear to be laid out explicitly in the rule book, so I wanted to check here.
If a body is charged, what elements of the charged body are allowed to contribute to support shooting? I seem to remember something about it only being ranks not participating in the HTH, but in my reread of the book to prep for Fall In I can’t find that clause.
Example:
2E HC in column charge 4E MI HTW, D/2E B in a 2 wide by 3 deep block. Do all six elements of the MI get to shoot the HC on the way in, or just the rear rank bow, as that rank does not fight? Per the rules, I think all six elements get to support shoot. |

If the body is receiving a charge it can fire all elements against that body charging it which are in arc.
If the body was in hth the previous bound, elements that fought hth cannot shoot.
If the body being charged is moving, check your rules s fewer elements can shoot and only with certain weapons. |
