I'm confused.

13.314 Fighting -- says that fighting transport elements "_enhance_
the capabilities of other elements 'mounted' in the transport."

However, the phrase "mounted" isn't used; only the phrase "combined."

13.331 Target Type (Shooting) -- says that fighting transport "are
shot at" which implies that the troops "mounted" in them are not an
eligible target. So I guess that shooter uses the "Transport" column
when shooting at Fighting Transport elements?

13.341 Target Type (HH combat) and 13.342 Hand-to-Hand Results --
say "combined foot/wagon elements..."

This does not tell me exactly what is being attacked. Does the
attacker use the factors in the Transport column or the column for
the infantry (HI or MI) that is mounted in the wagon?
***

Did I miss something, or does Fighting Transport recoil, since it is
treated as Foot? Seems odd that a wagon laager can get shoved
backwards. If so, what happens to a chain Obstacle that is stretched
across the gaps between two wagon elements?

***
13.32 bullet 4-- did you mean to say the combined unit moves at the
slower speed of either the wagons (who have infantry mounted in them)
or the excess _unmounted_ foot?

13.332 says a target which is a "construction" has Rule 10.4
Catastrophes applied to it. I don't understand how any of the items
in 10.4 would ever apply. And what is a "construction?" I don't
find it defined in the rules.

In Fantasy Warrior, have you thought about making a provision for
allowing Fighting Transport units to be bought as a Detachment, so
the infantry can sally forth and then fall back into their laager?

Doug, I recommend you read the clarifications on Fighting Transport and then ask
your questions again.

No, because I am busy with LEHI Lizardmen, but I'll add it to the list to think
about...
