1. My unit of Irishmen are LMI 1/2 2HCW, JLS & 1/2 JLS, SH. When facing
bowmen, I'll put the 2HCW in back to take less casualties (lack of shields).
Now when they hit the bowmen, the hit 5 figs JLS. In the subsequent bounds the
back guys stop fighting all together (9.22 ranks after the first fighting with
JLS and 2HCW). Is this right? How do I get the guys back to fighting?
2. This identical group above is fighting non-missle are troops so the 2HCW stay
in the front rank. But during the battle, things don't go well and they recoil.
I chose to drop the front rank throught the back rank (6.51) to save on
casualties. But when I do that the JLS, 2HCW stop fighting. Again, how can I
get these guys back fighting?
3. Is there a reason why 9.22 indicates that JLS can't be used in subsequent
bounds with 2HCT, when 2.32 says that JLS can not be combined with 2HCT at all?
Just wondering if there is a situation I am missing here.

I understand your pain.
I run my JLS, SH and JLS, 2HCW in 3 ranks, Lead with the 2HCW rank, If I
recoil, they fall back to the 3rd rank. If I followup, I expand from the 3rd
rank.
