If I'm behind a TF like a ditch or stone wall with my Byzantine foot,
if I drop caltrops will they be in front of the TF? To what effect?
Would it be 2 causes of sessation caused disorder? Just pondering.

TIA
Wanax

They would be in the same space as a ditch or on the enemy side of the wall.
Portable hazards do not cause disorder, they just add to attacker casualties
(9.42).
