A) How do the Etruscan Hoplites work in mixed units? When charging and HTW is
front and LTS is rear, I think you get all ranks but no modifier of -2. Do you
still get all ranks if the LTS is front and the HTW rear plus the -2 modifer?
1. Answers to (A) are: Yes - LTS fight a full 2nd rank when charging; No - HTW
fights a
half rank in all cases; you do however get the -2 if the LTS are in the front
rank, as the List Rules say. No errata on this one is needed.
B) On the Lykian list it states that you can give 2HCW to any JLS armed Lykian.
Does this mean Lykians just armed with JLS or does it include the JLS,B armed
Lykian marines?
2. "Any" means any, and for (B) you can give 2HCW to JLS,B armed Lykian
marines. No errata on this one is needed.
C) On the Alexandrian Imperial list, if you use the following positioning with
the Experimental Phalanx, first rank P, second rank B, third rank B, fourth rank
P, do you now get full fire from both second and third ranks?
3. No. That being said, the List Rule doesn't say that and we're crafting it
so that in order to get the List Rule "benefit" for the Bowmen in the
Experimental Phalanx, they *must* be in the third and fourth ranks. I'll have
errata up by the end of the week which will clear this up.
D) How does a unit with the following configuration, front rank JLS,Sh; back
rank 2HCW,JLS,Sh, fight when charging, and after the first round?
4. If Jon hasn't answered this one already, I know it's on his list of things
to do. He can elaborate further.
