It must include the command factor and at least one more element as units
have to be from 2-12 elements. 2E Reg B Art with 3 crew would be 56 points.

Okay, but I guess I'm still missing something in your calculation.
Could you spell it out more specifically? In the Swiss list, the
light gun is listed at 23 points, and for a regular crew, the command
factor would be an additional 10 for a total of 33. Where does the
additional 23 come from to make 56? Is this the cost for 2 guns
instead of one, or am I missing something elementary here?
Thanks for the help.>>
There is no way to have a one element Light Gun unit. A unit MUST be at
least two elements in strength, so a 2E (two element) Light Gun unit would be 56
points (2 x 23 + 10 command factor). You can't just add 10 points to 23 and
get a unit, because that would only be one element.

That is correct. The only things that can be one element bodies in Warrior
are staff elements and expendables.
Also, the rules mention that for stone throwers at a raised
elevation, they can fire at enemy units, over friendly units, as long
as these units are at least 40 paces away and at least 40 paces from
the target - is this also true for artillery guns? It would seem to
be the same thing to me.>>
It is not the same. The ability to elevate gunpowder driven artillery shots
does not occur within the time period covered by Warrior.

What may be a silly question concerning artillery point costs. I was
playing around with a Late Period Swiss list, and if I include Light
guns, they are listed as 3 Reg B crew and oxen at 23 points. Does
this mean that each gun model and base is only 23 points total, or
does the Swiss Reg command factor of 10 points also need to be
included for a total cost of 23 + 10 = 33 points?
