Well, this is kinda an Aztec figure needed. Both Jon and I are lookin for a
quetzalcoatl figure, he in 15mm, me in 25mm for inclusion into expected FanWar
derivatives of our Aztec armies.

I know from my decades of playing D&D that such figures exist and one woulda
have thunk Rap Partha (Iron Wind) would make it in 25mm but a perusal of the
recent catalogue and noooooooooooooo quetzalcoatl.

I've done some looking on TMP but nothing's jumped out at me.

Also, does anybody make sheet metal bases for 30mm? I ask because I plan on
mounting my FanWar on 25mm bases (since they're 25mm figures) but said bases
will be magnatized. So, all I will need to do is stick them on the metal 30mm
sheet metal base and can play in both scales. This would help me and Jon since
he's planning on mounting stuff 30mm because of the figures he has and it might
help us demo the game later this year at a sci fi con. Should we manage some
demos, part of what I'd like to do is have at least one "historical" army with
it's mythological component involved so that we can promote the demo rules but
also whip a little historicalness onto a prospective gamer at the same time.

Thanks,

Scott

Ren Ink makes a range of bases 80mm wide and the appropriate depths.

In an old RP catalog, there was a quetzalcoatl. It is not in the 2000 Iron
Wind catalog. I was talking to the Iron Wind guys at CW. They said that
they will be coming out with a new catalog very soon, with "new old" RP
figures. Unless this figure was tied to a porprietary line like D&D or
Shadowrun, it might be in the new one. Email them and find out.

Scott - wanna handle researching Iron Wind? I'll take 25mm as well.

Hey, Scott and Jon. Nice place you've got here. Glad that on my
first post I can contribute something.

The figure you remember was from Ral Partha; you can see it here:

http://lego.zianet.com/dac/html/00074.htm

The codes shown above the JPEG will help you ID the figure to Iron
Wind, but that may not help. I believe it was a licensed Shadowrun
figure. Anyway, good luck with your hunt.

You can blame John Carroll for my signing up here.

Thanks Allen!
Jon's Road Runner connection is down and he asked me to thank you for
the info.

Hooah. Something else I noted while surfing around for that figure:
apparently the bulk of it was resin, so that may also not be in Iron
Wind's immediate production plans.

I'm still looking, though, because I remember *another* one out
there. It was obscure. I'll let you know if I find it.

Give a try on Bartertown.com They let you put up
requests and you may even find one listed on the 4
sale parts. Mark

Try:
http://www.sentrybox.com/figures/figures-frame.html

Go to Ral Partha, scroll passt all that silly historical stuff to
25mm Sci-Fi. Number 10-861 goes for $44, but in Canadian dollars. I
bought some stuff from them before. They're OK.
