Played a couple of games of Warrior now, and really enjoying it - so
much more detail than certain other more abstract systems out there
(which are fun also, for different reasons) ... anyway, a few
questions - apologies if they're FAQs ...
First, a general one ... is there a pretty good 15mm following in
Warrior? I'm heavily invested in 15's and though I'd love to have gobs
of 25/8's sitting around, it's not going to happen in this lifetime
Now a couple of rules questions:
1) For the purposes of determining whether a combatant
inflicted "twice as many casualties" in combat, I assume any
casualties at all doubles 0 casualties, yes? (say when attacking a
enemy flank or rear)
2) if Mtd Unit A attacks Foot Unit B, and A does more than twice as
many casualties to B as vice versa, A wins. B recoils and becomes
disordered. Let's say the CPF done was only two, however, so no insta-
break ... but since they're now disordered and (under 11.213) received
twice as many casulaties and at least 1CPF, do they have a second
disorder cause and therefore now have to take a waver test? Or were
both sources of disorder considered simultaneous and "the same"?
3) I'm still a little foggy on a couple aspects of shooting (esp.
8.83). Unit A1 is in combat with Unit B, and A1's buddy, A2, is
standing off a ways with bows. There is enough of B "sticking out"
that A2 has a valid target, so in Prep Fire they can shoot. Can they
also shoot supporting fire, to help their buddies that are (and have
been all bound) stuck in?
I jotted down one other question we had whilst playing ... and I can't
now read my writing. :)
Thoughts? And thanks in advance!
-Jeff

You are correct.

many casualties to B as vice versa, A wins. B recoils and becomes
disordered. Let's say the CPF done was only two, however, so no insta-

The same. Please be sure you have a copy of our clarifications. It is a file
in the files section of this group.

You can't shoot prep shooting at a body in contact - that is support shooting
only.

Ah, found the mention in there - was looking in the combat results
section and not in troop state. Sorry about that.

No need to be sorry. Waver tests result from a number of causes, not just
combat, so they are consolidated in troop state.
