Is anyone aware of plans for a Warrior event at Borderwars(Oct 5-7)?
We have such a large contingent (relatively speaking) of Warrior
players here in the Kansas City area I was hoping for something. I
know Jacob Kovell, the current NASAMW regional POC, is moving up to
Connecticut. So he is probably not focused on planning an event.

I was not aware.
How big is it (entries)?
What format?
15's or 25's?
1600pts?
Is there a website with more info? I didn't see anything on nasamw.org

Patrick,
Back in the heady days of 7th Edition, we could
count on between 8 and 16 people to show up. Warrior
doesn't get much support out here like it should even
though we have 3 of the 4 horsemen in the area.

One of the reasons it does not draw out here is because we have many new
Warrior players who will not attend a tourney if a certain player is going to
show. This player also single-handedly caused many people to leave the
ancients hobby and is barred from a couple of downtown game stores due to his
disruptive and bigoted behavior.
I have taken measures to correct that situation. While there may not be any
Warrior events at Border Wars - a very problematic "con" for many reasons -
there will be throughout the year at Tabletop Game and Hobby in Lenexa
Kansas. I'll put out here the times and dates. It looks like our first such
event witll be in conjunction with Warrior's publication.

Stop this thread or you'll be banned from the group. And yes, I am the
moderator and can do that.

Please continue, this is really great stuff! Barred
from Downtown stores!? This guy must really be a
pariah! What a presence to be able to affect such a
huge ancients population! But praytell, which stores
are these? Macys, Penneys? And why would you be so
derisive of Borderwars. Man, bigoted is really a scary
word. A harsh word to call someone. Perhaps even
slanderous.

Please let me assure the group this is not personal hatred (clever ruse,
though!). I will not, however, let anyone damage the hobby, the Society or
our game while I have the power to do something about it.
I consider this thread ended.

I'm sure you will. Just please leave personal hatreds
out of this group. Why can't we all just get along.
