Jon,
We are sorry if any of these are repeat questions:
1. Can or must Mercs be commanded by a SG or AG from the original list?
1a. If so, must the general be purchased?
1b. If not, can the Mercs be commanded by hiring army SG, AG, or CinC?
1c. If so, must mercs be in a separate command much like Allied troops in the
army list?
2. Are minimums change when merc purchase allied command, ei Italian Condotta?
3. Can merc APs (troops) be split after the AP is bought? For example, if I
purchase troops from David on turn 5 and then on turn 9 I decide to send half of
the mercs to city A and half to city B.
3a. If so, do you have to purchase an SG/AG commander for each split command?
4. We are assuming that the players main FC is allowed to be bold, but should
we roll for the character of all other FCs, SGs, AGs, and CinC?
4a. If so, do you roll the character of the general for FC for every battle?
Happy Wargaming
Chris, David, Harlan

An AG, which is the merc's CINC for reduced cost. If a low point army, them
follow those rules and place the mercs under an SG or the main CINC.

Yes. Only FC's are free. You cannot buy an FC

AP are only turned into troops duirng a battle, if there is no battle - no, they
stay AP. When the battle is over, they return to being AP. If one or more of
two separate groups of mercs is in battle, then each will have an AG for the
duration of that battle.
